Autumn is approaching in the northern hemisphere, and for us at EGU that means planning is well underway for the General Assembly in 2025! Continuing our commitment to offer an inclusive meeting, EGU25 will take place both on-site in Vienna, Austria, and virtually, on 27 April–2 May 2025.

As with last year, EGU25 Updates will be posted on the website and sent by email once per month – at the beginning of the month. In addition, conveners, authors, exhibitors and attendees will receive instructional emails when tasks have a specific deadline, so make sure to check your email settings so that you don't miss anything!

More information about the planned format and additional features of the EGU General Assembly 2025 will be available soon, but for now let's kick off the EGU25 Monthly Updates with the important information you need to know about in September!

So, what do you need to do in September?
